Sarah's Questions:

1.  What is your favorite meal of all time?
Probably my mom's pot roast. It's amazing.

2.  If you could choose to travel back in time, to which era would you go to? (the days before Christ? Medieval ages? Western 17-1800s? etc...)
Not kidding—my sister and I just had this conversation. If I could only choose one time period, it might be the 1800s. I've always been facinated by the 1800s (especially early and mid). And the fashion! However impractical some clothes could be, the 1800s had a romantic look to them.

3.  Are you a writer?  If so, please summarize your story/novel/WIP in THREE sentences. (Mwahahahaha xD)
Oh, dear. Well, I think I shall do a summary for The Assassin's Daughter.

Seventeen-year-old Kat has spent years training to be an Assassin, alongside her best friend, Ed. Now, on the verge of earning their titles and beginning their careers, Kat is faced with surprises and difficult choices. Can she really kill someone she believed was already dead?

4.  Where would your ideal dream home be?
Well, I'm rather fond of my home state of Tennessee, so it would probably be here. I'm just not sure where exactly yet. :)

5.  What person in your life is closest to you, and how and where did you meet?
I'm really close to my mom and my sister. The former, I've known my whole life, and the latter, for about fifteen years. :)

6.  Favorite ice-cream flavor?
Cookies-and-cream (though I do love vanilla and strawberry cheesecake as well.)

7.  Very quickly (and yes, this requires MOVING), stand from where you are, walk ten paces, turn right, step two, turn left, step five paces.  Where are you now?  And were there any obstacles in your way? If so, what are they?
I'm in my grandparents' hallway. There are pictures and things on the walls, but no obstacles.

8.  If you and your best friend were stranded on an island, and you could choose three items to help you survive/escape, what would they be?
Ooh, good question. I think I would bring a boat, an emergency kit, and a tent, in the event we had to hang out there for a few days.

9.  If you could give your ten-years-from-now-future-self ONE piece of advice, what would it be?
Hm. It would probably be something along the lines of "Just keep calm and keep the faith."

10.  Camping/back-packing trip, or beach vacation?
I love all of those, but since I must choose only one... I'd have to say beach vacation. Even though I've only been to the beach a few times, I'm in love with it. There's just something about standing beside the ocean that makes you realize how small you are in a such a big universe (and that God cares about you just the same!).

11.  What is your realistic/unrealistic dream job?
I'm totally choosing velociraptor trainer on this one. (I have four cats and one dog, so I'm sure that could be close enough, though.)  ;)

My Questions:
1. Favorite Bible verse(s)?
2. What is your dream road trip?
3. You're walking out of the bookstore when you bump into your favorite book character, and they invite you to lunch. Who are they? Would you accept their invitation? Where would you go?
4. Have you ever won a game of Monopoly?
5. What are the last three books you read?
6. Last movie you saw in theaters?
7. Do you have any siblings? (If yes, are you older, younger, or in the middle?)
8. If you're a writer, do you have a favorite character you've written? (Kidding, I won't make you choose. But which character is one you particularly like?)
9. Favorite animal?
10. If you were invited to join Thorin and Co., or the Fellowship of the Ring, which would you choose? Why?
11. Favorite season?

  1. Cookies and cream sounds delicious! :D I would totally love to be a velociraptor trainer as well. And to answer a few of YOUR questions, no, I've never won a game of monopoly, I last watched Inside Out in theaters, I am the oldest of four girls, and autumn is my favorite season. :) Thanks for sharing a little bit about yourself!

    1. I've heard many good things about Inside Out, but I haven't seen it yet. I really want to, though.

That's cool! I have one sister (she's the youngest), and two brothers (who are the middles).

Autumn is quite lovely; I like seeing the colors change each year. It's gorgeous!

And thank you for sharing as well! :)
