Goodbye, May! | May 2021

May ended up being a busier month than I had thought it would be at first, so it kind of passed in a blur. But it was a productive month, too.

Rereleasing The Assassin’s Daughter in paperback!

I was so excited to finally get this updated print version finished!

Finishing a few big scenes in The Treasonist’s Son!

I’m still working on transferring them to the main doc since I wrote them in a notebook, but they are scenes I’ve been struggling with and I’m fairly happy with how they’re coming along now.

Got a new (to me) vehicle!
This has been a need for a while, given that my truck needed some significant work and I kind of just needed something different. After some stressful searching, I was excited to find something that checked nearly all of my boxes that I could get within my budget.

Finally moved out of a reading slump!
Reading has been kind of an uphill journey for most of this year, but I’ve been reading a lot more this month and have been excited to break through that slump!
What were your favorite things in May?
