Snippets | March 2021


Today is rainy and gray, which is some of my favorite writing weather, and I have some fun scenes planned for today’s writing session. But before I get started on those, here are this month’s snippets from The Treasonist’s Son!

    If she’d dreamed, she couldn’t remember it.
     But when he opened his eyes—well, he was still alone. Still kneeling by the water in an unfamiliar forest and wishing for things that might not happen.
    Kilam laced his fingers together in front of him, still hoping to disguise the unsteadiness in his treasonous hands.
    “This has nothing to do with loyalty and you know it.”
