Fantasy Love February Reading Challenge

Grace from Fictionally is hosting a fantasy-themed reading challenge throughout the month of February! To find out more, check out her blog and join the fun!

I have two non-fantasy books on reading list for the month (Pride and Prejudice and Wuthering Heights), but here are the ones I’d like to read for the challenge:

Stars Above by Marissa Meyer
I think this one will count as a fairy-tale retelling, since it is the follow-up to The Lunar Chronicles, which are all based on fairy-tales. I am so excited to read these stories!

Dragonspell by Donita K. Paul
I think I may have read this one before, but it’s been a long time. I picked this up at a yard sale last spring but haven’t read it yet.

Dragonquest by Donita K. Paul
If I finish Dragonspell, I’d like to continue with these books (also from the aforementioned yard sale).

Dragonfire by Donita K. Paul
As with above, this was picked up at the yard sale and still hasn’t been read.

It’s not a long list, but I’m hoping I can get to all of them, and maybe a few others too!

What are you reading in February? Are you joining the challenge?

  1. Good list, Jameson! I want to read "Stars Above," but might have to wait awhile before I get to it. And Donita K. Paul's series is a nice choice! I remember finding book 1 a bit slow, but the rest of the series was better and one of my favorites! Did you happen to pick up "Dragonknight," book 3" It's the book between "Dragonquest" and "Dragonfire." Just thought I'd let you know in case you wanted to read the books in order. :-)
Thank you so much for joining in the challenge! I hope it's a fun time for you!

  2. How fun! Fantasy is my absolute FAVORITE genre ever!! And Donita K. Paul! Oh my goodness, I think you're going to LOVE those books. They're honest to goodness one of my favorite series. She creates the most hilarious characters and funnest plots. The DragonKeeper Chronicles is just the best!

And Star Above! I literally just ordered that yesterday. I can't wait for it to get here.

Good luck on your fantasy reading endeavors!
