The Music Tag

I had every intention of blogging earlier in autumn; I had some ideas and brainstormed them a little bit, but the reality is that life got busy and I lost track of time and have not blogged since July. Oops. 

But I return with a fun tag from The Hopeful Pen!

RULES:

• Write ten songs that come on shuffle (no skipping)
• Write your favorite lyric from each song
• Tag some people

I am going to break the rules just a little bit, since I’ve really only been listening to my autumn playlists since September began, hehe.

A FAVORITE LYRIC:

SONG #3: “Crows” by The Gray Havens

A FAVORITE LYRIC:  

This one is actually an instrumental track, but I love the moody, sharp tone of it!

 

SONG #4: “When October Goes” by Rosemary Clooney

A FAVORITE LYRIC:

And when October goes

the same old dream appears 

 

SONG #5: “Falling Leaves” by Glenn Miller Orchestra

A FAVORITE LYRIC:

Another non-lyric song. It’s one of those classic, jazzy seasonal songs that has cozy nostalgic vibes.

 

SONG #6: “Autumn’s Melody” by Alan Gogoll

A FAVORITE LYRIC:

Yet another instrumental song (there are a lot on this playlist). This one makes me think of walking through the leaves or sitting under the trees.

 

SONG #7: “September in the Rain” by Bing Crosby and Buddy Bregman

A FAVORITE LYRIC:

SONG #8: “Storehouse” by The Gray Havens
