Farewell, October! | October 2023

 And so, October goes... 

October has been busy, though mostly with everyday sorts of things. The month has passed so quickly!

 

Slow progress.

Writing hasn’t happened as much as I had hoped in the past few weeks, but there were some good writing days. I haven’t actually tracked time written or words written at all this month.

Autumn adventures.

Mostly “little adventures,” like reading outside or taking a different route to work to see more of the fall leaves. I went trick-or-treating with some of my nephews, my mom, and my sister. And there was my family’s annual autumn dinner/Halloween party as well, and this year we were able to add an outdoor movie to the party since the weather was so nice! Watching It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown at sunset, with popcorn for snacking and fairy lights for decor was super cozy and nostalgic.
