Goodbye, September! | September 2023

September has been a very busy month—travel, family gatherings, work, and all the things that go along with general life stuff. Summer is still hanging on during the days, but there have been cool mornings for sipping pumpkin spice lattes and chilly evenings for watching the sky and planning autumn events. Overall, a good month!

Brainstorming.

This month turned out to be very, very busy, so the only writing progress I really accomplished was brainstorming for a a couple of projects.

AROUND THE BLOGOSPHERE

Fall Fic Frenzy returns!

This is such a fun way to find motivation and community during the autumn months. I’m not sure of my goal yet, but I’m looking forward to hopefully getting a lot done! The event starts October 15th, and you can find all of the info on Christine’s website. (And her Know the Novel event is coming up soon as well!)

The paperback edition of A Curse for Christmas launched!

This is an adorable fantasy rom-com with a cozy contemporary feel that came out as an ebook last year. This month, Anna released the paperback! It is full of illustrations (drawn by the author!) and you definitely want to check it out for the upcoming holiday season.

Travel!

The second half of a road trip with my parents and grandparents took place at the beginning of the month, which was a lot of fun! I’m planning a photo blog post recap about that, but you can see some photos and mini vlogs on my Instagram.

Family reunions.

It’s always nice getting to see and catch up with family I haven’t seen in a while.

Watching the sky.

I really enjoyed getting to go stargazing in Yellowstone, which is something I have wanted to do for years. Back home, I loved watching the super moon this week, especially since it was cloudy and I wasn’t sure it would be visible! And one night, I even saw a shooting star over my house, which is always a treat to see.

Tell me about your September! What are you looking forward to in October?
