Goodbye, November! | November 2022
And another month is ending...
November has been a lovely month, overall, though definitely busy! It’s a little hard to believe that it’s already over, because the month really did seem to fly by.
Writing retreat!
This was my second writing retreat ever and it was lovely! Like last year, I booked a night at a tiny house. It was super cozy, and I was able to write 8,200 words while I was there.
Project: Leaf Pile progress.
I didn’t make my goal of 40,000 words or finishing this WIP during November, but I feel good about the progress I made. I’ll keep writing it through December because it’s fun. :)
Thanksgiving!
I spent the morning watching the Macy’s Parade on TV with my oldest nephew, and helping my parents get everything ready for hosting dinner. Even though several family members were sick and unable to stop by, it was still a nice day.
Christmas decorating.
I didn’t start decorating for Christmas until after Thanksgiving (which is a little late for me, but I just really wanted to spend time enjoying autumn and Thanksgiving first this year), but I did do a bit of decor shopping throughout the month. I even bought a 4-foot tree to put beside my desk this year, and things are quite cozy now.
What were some of your favorite happenings this month?
