Farewell, February! | February 2022

February has been an odd month. Even though it’s the shortest month, I think the first half of the month felt really long? Not in a bad way—just a bit slower than I’d expected. And this last week has gone by so quickly as if to make up for that!

The Assassin’s Daughter turned five!
It’s hard to believe it’s been that long! There’s a giveaway happening on my Instagram page that closes at midnight tonight, if you want to enter to win an ebook copy!

The Treasonist’s Son continues…
I’ve been pretty quiet on the update front regarding TTS, since it’s just been easier to work on it a little more “secretly,” at the moment, but I am having a lot of fun with it, and I think things are going well. :)

Coffeeshop writing!

This was the first time I’d been to a coffeeshop to write since last year, and it was a nice writerly treat.

Lazy days.
February may have been a busy month in many ways, but there were also a lot of lazy days too. I was home with COVID for a few of them, and spent most of that time watching TV and playing LEGO Lord of the Rings. And sleeping. :P

Day trips.
My parents and I took a day trip to Cumberland Falls State Park on one of the sunny, warm days this month, and it was so pretty!

Watching Spider-Man: No Way Home again.
My mom and I went to see this (she hadn’t seen it yet), and it was super fun to watch it and pick up on things I’d missed the first time. (And I am SO EXCITED for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. I can’t wait!)

How was your February? Are you excited about spring?
