Farewell, December! | December 2021

Here we are at the end of another year, and the last monthly recap of 2021! It’s been quite the year, and this month has been a busy close to a busy year. As usual, here are some highlights!

Writing break month!

I finished my NaNo novel by my deadline of December 4th, and took most of the month off from writing after that. I did a little scribbling this week, but the break has been really nice and I’m excited to really get back to writing in the new year.

Fallen Short But Falling Upward: Reflections for the New Year by Tracey Dyck

A really inspiring and encouraging post!

Watching Spider-Man: No Way Home.

I have so many thoughts and feels regarding this movie. It was so good! (It was also just fun to be watching an MCU movie in theaters again!)

Christmas!

It was so lovely to be able to spend the day with family! The weather was really warm and pretty, and it was a nice day spent celebrating with family.

Preparing for the new year.

Like everyone else, the days after Christmas tend to be a reflective time and a time of figuring out what I want to do in the new year. I have ideas, but I’m still not totally sure. For now, I’m looking forward to spending the next few hours relaxing and spending time with my parents!

How was your December?
