What is the Whatsoever Cafe?

A once-monthly blog post meet up here at Lovely Whatsoevers where we can gather in the comments and talk about writing victories and struggles, what’s inspiring us, and to just have fun talking about the writing life! The virtual doors will open on the second Saturday of each month, but you can join any time of the month!

What you’re working on:

I’m actually on a writing break this month to recover from NaNo and, hopefully, go into the new year with all the writing energy and inspiration.

A writing victory:

I did have a couple of ideas for one of my WIPs kind of present itself as a possible fix to a plot problem. I’ve noted it as something to come back to later.

A writing struggle:

Not writing? Whenever I take a writing break, inspiration always seems to strike hardest, but I really do want to take some time to just creatively recharge instead of launching into writing something only to hit a wall in a week or two.

What’s inspiring you:

Christmas lights, Christmas music, Christmas movies... All the Christmas things!

A goal for the month:

Rest and creatively recharge, and maybe brainstorm some goals ideas for the coming year.
