Farewell, October! | October 2021

Here we are at the end of October, and it’s been a busy month. Mostly good, with cozy weather and  pretty days, even when there were difficult times.

Novel Plot Week!
I’m writing a contemporary story for NaNo, and had a lot of fun brainstorming things for that!

K.T. Ivanrest’s The Windward King is now available!

This book is sooo good (I read an earlier draft!), and I’m so excited to be able to read it again!

Fall weather arrived.
After a warmer month, the last week or two have been rainy and cold, and we finally started to see some beautiful fall colors! I was even able to spend a few mornings outside with a book and a pumpkin spice latte ♥

Ginger, one of my family’s cats, passed away.
We unexpectedly lost this sweet boy, and it’s been a difficult loss, but we’re so thankful for the time we had with him. He was honestly one of the sweetest and kindest souls.

What were some of your favorite moments from October? What are you looking forward to in November?

Comments

  1. I am so very sorry to hear about your beloved cat! Losing pets is one of the hardest things in life. *many hugs*

I do hope November proves to be much brighter and that you have the BEST NaNo! Cheering you on! <3
