May Adventures | May 2019

And here we are again at the end of another month. May was a fun month, with lots of exciting happenings.
TAD2.
Lots of good writing days this month, even if I am, overall, writing at the pace of a turtle.

That feeling when you realize you have to rewrite another chapter...
ON THE BLOG
(It was apparently a Marvel-themed month, hehe.)

AROUND THE BLOGOSPHERE
Tangled is one of my favorite movies ever and I loved Christine’s analysis of it from a writing standpoint.

A really good introduction to the “Idea Reader” concept, and I liked how it brings in the idea of writing the book you want to read and then applying the Idea Reader questions to yourself!

Sarah recently started a new bookstagram account (such pretty photos!), plus she’s hosting another flash fiction linkup in June!

I started listening to podcasts a bit over a year ago, and I enjoyed this behind-the-scenes look at how Hannah structures the one for Phoenix Fiction Writers.
Went to a concert!
This was my second time seeing Shenandoah in concert, and my first time seeing Exile in concert. Both bands put on a great show! (And I’m pretty sure I’ve now heard all my favorite Shenandoah songs in concert at least once. ^_^)

Went to Cades Cove.
I hadn’t been since…last spring? But it was so pretty and sunny and I had a lovely time. I’m hoping to have a post with some photos from those outings up on the blog in June.

Watched Avengers: Endgame again.
So on Mother’s Day my mom was like, “Let’s go watch Endgame” (since it has become a family tradition to watch the newest Avengers movie together but life is busy and that had not yet happened with Endgame.) It was just as much fun during the second viewing, and a good opportunity for picking up details and things I missed the first time.
Are you ready for summer? Have any fun adventures in May? Let’s chat!
