#IndieApril Recommendations

A little bit fairy tale retelling + murder mystery with a lot of wit and humor.


Worlds Beneath by K.A. Emmons
A sequel with  intriguing character revelations and more Fin.


Iridescent by Kait Spangler
Mysterious and secretive people with superpowers? YES.


Rulers and Mages by Daley Downing
A fun expansion to the series fae lore and family dynamics.

And of course, I am rather fond of my own little book about reluctant assassins-to-be. ;) *whistles nonchalantly*

  1. I LOVE this idea! And EEEEE!!!! SO MANY GOOD ONES. The Electrical Menagerie, The Beast of Talesend, The Girl Who Could See, and OF COURSE, The Assassin’s Daughter! YES YES YES. I adore all of those SO MUCH. I've yet to read any of the others listed, sadly, but they're like ALL on my TBR. There's just so many great indie books out there! :D
