Light

Christmas.

It’s the time of year we celebrate being with the people we love. It’s a time for spreading a little bit of joy in the world. But caught up in the hectic holiday preparations and the flurry of gatherings and events, it’s easy to lose sight of the beauty and the light.

“In him was life; and the life was the light of men.”

John 1:4

Behind all of our traditions and gatherings and well-wishing is remembrance—a time to reflect on the baby whose birth we recognize in December, on everything that baby would grow up to be.

Light. Hope. Healer. Savior.

“And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.”
